STI founder rejoins STI
Michael Sanson, US Navy Retired, served a Commissioned Officer during the Vietnam War in 1961 -1964. He formalized his education by acquiring a Bachelor of Science in System Engineering from UCLA in 1961 followed by an MBA from UCLA in 1966.
Mr. Sanson has been entrenched in computer systems development, operations and development methodology research and training for forty five years.
In 1984, he founded STI, Inc, where he directed software development methodology research and training studies for NASA and JPL as well as the U.S. Army in support of JPL. This included the definition of a database on industry training applicable to the NASA engineering environment and needs; the defining of a set of NSASA applicable examples to support a NASA-wide training program and the development of a customized curriculum for the top levels of NASA management.
In 2005, Mr. Sanson transferred the helm of STI, Inc. to Sherry Eyzaguirre Beckman. He continued to contribute to the company as a subject matter expert and in December 2009 became the Chairman of the Board.
